Once Concerned That John McCain Might "Snap" and Lose the Election, Neil Cavuto Now Urges Him to "Explode" and Go "Nutty"

Reported by Melanie - June 8, 2008 -

Waaaaaay back, on February 6, when folks like Fox's "business news" guy, Neil Cavuto were p-r-a-y-i-n-g that Rudy Giuliani or Fred Thompson would win the GOP nomination, Cavuto told Politico's Roger Simon: "I'm also hearing a lot of people are waiting for Senator McCain to snap; for him to do something crazy and that just as he's on the verge of winning this, he's gonna go, you know, kinda like a Norman Bates deal."

Flash forward four months to Friday (June 6, 2008) and Cavuto's "Common Sense" eh, "editorial." (Fox's insinuation that Cavuto's editorializing is limited to this segment is yet more excuse-me-while-I-kiss-the-sky BS it pulls over the sheeples' eyes.) The editorial, titled, "My Free Political Tips to John McCain," included this "tip" for John Sidney: "Don't hide your temper. Show it. Apparently, when you explode, it's a beaut. I think it shows your passion. And people respect passion. And who cares if they think it's nutty. I'll tell you what, dictators ain't exactly the Rock of Gibraltar. Nuts respect tempers. Winston Churchill had a huge temper, and it didn't hurt him any!"

Comment: Sounds like a preemptive strike to me but what the...? Go for it John Sidney. Take Cavuto's advice. Explode! Go nutty! Yeah, that's what we want in a president!
