Neil Cavuto Sets Aside His Concern that John McCain Might "Snap" and have a "Norman Bates" Moment

Reported by Melanie - June 5, 2008 -

On February 6, 2008, during an interview with Roger Simon of Politico, Fox's "business news" guy, Neil Cavuto, said: "I'm also hearing a lot of people are waiting for Senator McCain to snap; for him to do something crazy and that just as he's on the verge of winning this, he's gonna go, you know, kinda like a Norman Bates deal."

Guess Cavuto's decided to grin and bear it because, being the good GOP water boy that he is, he's now defending poor lil' ol' John Sidney. The poor guy just can't get no good press because (yesterday), "the media" is turning Barack Obama into the "next Jesus," and (today), poor John's "real fight" is busting through coverage of that "hot, young whippersnapper."

I can see the groundwork Fox is laying here. John Sidney says something that makes you wonder if he's all there - like "I will win in January" - the "liberal" media reports it and Fox has a fit: Isn't that just like 'em? Goes to show ya they're blinded by the "Barackstar" and pickin' on "the old guy."
