FOX Wants To Keep The Sparks Flying Between Obama and Clinton

Reported by Deborah - May 1, 2008 -

Megyn Kelly knows the way to FOX super stardom is high ratings for her star ship, American Election HQ, so she needed to stir up some fresh conflict between Clinton and Obama. Issues are out on FOX's Election HQ where their idea of a campaign coverage is advancing Democratic upheaval, division and chaos.

Today she sounded like a carnival barker promoting the idea of dueling Sunday morning interviews for Clinton and Obama who are appearing on rival networks for the full hour in the same time slot.
Sounding very excited, she used phrases like "head to head", " full hour!" "simultaneous", "never happened before". She then asked her guests Ken Madden and Kirsten Powers, " What's with the national media blitz."

Powers and Madden brought back the Obama drama suggesting that's all Obama will be talking about on Sunday. Madden wondered if Obama distanced himself " far enough" from Wright. Powers agreed that Obama has a " real problem. Kelly hoping for a bashfest to provide some fresh meat for Monday said, " Oh yeah! I'm on ABC take that."

comment: A FOX moment of eloquent journalism and professionalism.
