Studio B spends Most Of Time On Rev. Wright

Reported by Donna - April 29, 2008 -

The first 40 some minutes on Studio B with Shepard Smith today were spent almost entirely speaking about Rev. Wright and the damage he is doing to Barack Obama. Smith popped one statement in there about John McCain laying low and visisiting the 9th ward in New Orleans.

Obama said that was enough, that Rev. Wright had disrepected him and was against everything this campaign stood for. Obama said he repudiated this.

One guest said that maybe Wright had his 15 minutes of fame. Smith said perhaps Obama had his 15 minutes of fame. Smith even read an email that said that Fox was out to destroy Obama's run for presidency. Smith went to semantics and said that Obama repudiated what Rev. Wright said not Rev. Wright.

It was the same thing over and over again only Barack fought back this time so Fox tried to twist his words like the same thing was going on.

Comment: I still think that Fox is trying to mix up the voters so that they think they don't have a choice but to vote for the wonderful McCain. Smith did say that if Hillary loses NC and IN, Hillary was basically out of it. It sounds like they are trying to weaken Barack's campaign.

The problem with this is once we have one Democrat against one Republican, the context will change. Right now, Smith says Obama has Hillary and McCain going after him, but in the end I think that the words of Barack Obama will ring true and he will be the next president of the U.S. He's being swiftboated now, but wait until after the campaigns are settled, we'll see who has the money to do the swiftboating.
