FOX Friends tease McCain ineligibilty story, don't deliver

Reported by Chrish - February 28, 2008 -

FOX and Friends First (Steve Doocy, Alisyn Camerota) was mostly fluff and human interest stories this morning 2/28/08, so I looked forward to the teased segment on John McCain's possible ineligibility to run for or be president of the United States. The piece never materialized in that hour, but FOXNews.com reports, based on a New York Times report, that McCain's birth in the Panama Canal Zone can arguably disqualify him.

Of interest, in a fluff piece about Jenna Bush's tame bachelorette party, Camerota friendly-scolded her for not going wild and doing things she can't do after she's married. ("Sex!" yelled out one of the crew off-camera, which drew big laughter. I bet that went over big with the FOX-base that says no one should have sex until after they're married.) Anyway, Doocy wanted Camerota to tell what she did at her bachelorette party, and when she demurred and told viewers to go to the green room website he insisted, saying "People are going to work!" She said it involved maraschino cherries and for detail, go to the website.

I only point this out because apparently people needed to know before they left for work what titillating behavior Ms. Camerota engaged in, but breaking news about the possible disqualification of the Republican frontrunner for president - well, you can catch up at lunchtime, or after work.

I didn't have to go to work, but my recording ended at 6am (EST) so sans going to another source I was left teased and uninformed. Most people only know what the corporate media wants them to know.
