Bill O'Reilly's Messages of Hate Should Be Noted

Reported by Deborah - February 21, 2008 -

It was time, once again, last night for O'Reilly to go after the DailyKos and Huffington Post who he claims are messengers of hate . Perhaps he really believes that his viewers can be easily diverted from the fact that the biggest messenger of hate is Bill O'Reilly himself. with video

Last night, Bill was outraged because he claimed there were hateful comments about Nancy Reagan after her recent fall and hospital stay. Mary Katherine Ham was horrified claiming that the blogs on the right never attack people who are sick or injured. Although both angels of purity and ethics were furious, they agreed that freedom of speech was more important. Viewers could be thankful that such divine role models for the right were on the job for real Americans.

Although these repeated fits from BOR are getting pretty predicable and boring, I thought it might be constructive to remind Bill and his fans of a few times that the great champion of morality and ethics has crossed that line into vile hate attacking people who are sick and certainly undeserving of his nasty speculation

There was that time in June 07 when he and his pal Dick Morris wondered if John Edwards purposely had his wife Elizabeth call Ann Coulter on the Chris Matthews show just to remind viewers that Elizabeth has cancer to get some sympathy votes..

Viewers should also remember that proud moment when O'Reilly spent so much time analyzing Michael J Fox's motives for doing a political ad about Parkinsons Disease If you recall, Rush Limbaugh did an imitation of Fox's jerky motions and everyone accused Fox of purposely altering his meds for sympathy.

Then there was an especially memorable segment when BOR criticized the decision to have Dick Clark do the Times Square New Years show because he was.not recovered from his stroke and his physical problems made the audience uncomfortable.

Of course, O'Reilly's worst hate crusade against Shawn Hornbeck should always be remembered. Shawn and his parents haven't forgotten it.

Here's the video of last night's diversionary fit.
