O'Reilly doesn't want to go on a "lynching party" against Michelle Obama, unless....

Reported by Chrish - February 20, 2008 -

Completely contrary to common sense, good manners, and decency, Bill O'Reilly has suggested he would go on a "lynching party" against Michelle Obama if he determines that "there's evidence, hard facts, that say this is how the woman really feels, If that's how she really feels -- that America is a bad country or a flawed nation, whatever -- then that's legit. We'll track it down."

On his widely syndicated "Radio Factor" O'Reilly postured as defending Michelle Obama against hearsay called in by a listener, asking the caller to give his information off the air so O'Reilly could ascertain if the accusations were true ( that Michelle Obama is "a very angry...militant woman.")

MediaMatters has the transcript and audio (of course). In any context using the word "lynching" about a black woman is tasteless at best, and reasonable people could see it as racist. Contact FOX News and tell them what you think about their biggest star.

Jeeez, what does it take to get fired at that place?
