How Fox News Reported On "The Single Largest Invasion of Privacy in the History of the Country."

Reported by Melanie - February 12, 2008 -

That being Chris Dodd's reaction to the Senate's passage this afternoon of a provision of the FISA bill that would "shield from lawsuits telecommunications companies that helped the government eavesdrop on their customers without court permission after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks," and will give them carte blanche to spy on us some more.

This is the rosy way Fox's Kimberly Guilfoyle (a lawyer who has sold her soul) reported the news during Your World w/Neil Cavuto:

Some good news for telecom companies helping with the government's warrantless wiretap program. The Senate today voting to grant them immunity from lawsuits. A House version of the bill doesn't include protection from legal action. President Bush is promising to veto any bill that doesn't shield the companies. The program began after 9/11 to help protect Americans.
