Outrageous Quote of the Week 2/9/08

Reported by Chrish - February 10, 2008 -

Ann Coulter edged out Sean Hannity last week with this doozy about presumptive Republican nominee John McCain: (he) "lies, he has no honor," and "claims he'll be tough on terrorism but he's very upset that we're dropping water down the noses of terrorists." This week's nominees are after the jump.

Option A: John McCain will be good on defense and taxes but and he won't implement "Katrina-run health care" like the Democrats want to do. Steve Forbes, Forbes on FOX, 2/9/08

Option B: "Tonight we have a major announcement, and that is a new GI bill is needed in the country. And we will work hard to make that happen this year. 'The Factor' has partnered up with Senator John Kerry in the Senate and Congressman Peter King in the House to forward legislation that will reward our fighting men and women when they leave the service." Bill O'Reilly's much-anticipated announcement about veterans: he will update America once a month on the progress of the bill. Factor, Talking Points Memo, 2/7/08

Option C: "And Barack and Hillary have made their intentions clear regarding Iraq and the war on terror. They would retreat and declare defeat. And the consequence of that would be devastating. It would mean attacks on America, launched from safe havens that make Afghanistan under the Taliban look like child’s play. About this, I have no doubt." Mitt Romney as he withdrew from the presidential race, 2/7/08

Option D: "If the rap song is bad enough to cause Holder's arrest, why is it not bad enough to cause the arrest of the guy who made the recording, or the guy, or gal, who plays it loudly on their car sound system? I say ... Book 'em, Dano. Book 'em all." John Gibson on incident where guy singing along to rap song on his iPod was arrested for public profanity, My Word, 2/6/08

Option E: “You know what? You guys would hand Iraq over to Al Qaeda and Ahmadinejad and that makes you pathetically, disgustingly weak on national defense.” Sean Hannity on his fellow countrymen of the opposite political persuasion, Hannity and Colmes, 2/8/08

Option F: "Sharia Law — Closer Than You Think..." Title of John Gibson's My Word column 2/7/08
