Headgames and dishonesty on the O'Reilly Factor

Reported by Chrish - February 7, 2008 -

Bill O'Reilly does a regular segment with Dennis Miller, "Comedian and Radio Show Host," on the O'Reilly Factor on FOX News where Miller famously rants his rehearsed opinions.

Last night 2/6/08, as I was fast-forwarding through the unbearable smug-fest I noticed that the backdrop for Miller, reportedly in LA, was a dark sky and city buildings with lights on. We know O'Reilly pre-records his show in the afternoon/evening (so he can edit it to his favor, the only one on FOX to do so and a direct contradiction to their claim to be "live" 24/7/365). California being three hours behind would put Miller in broad daylight during taping. It's a small point, granted, but why this manipulative dishonesty? Just habit? Or is it deliberately meant to help obscure the fact that O'Reilly is recorded, because he can't risk a guest putting him in his place on live teevee? We report, you decide.
