FOX Friend Bill Kristol admires GOP's civility in debate
Reported by Chrish - January 25, 2008
Knew this was coming, after all the faux horror at the Clinton/Obama exchanges Monday night. This morning 1/25/08 the FOX Friends hosted Bill Kristol to comment on the Republicans and their debate last night.
Kristol was not surprised at the level of civility; he was pleased. "They're pretty decent human beings, those candidates."
The lower third read "Humility and Civility Encompassed GOP Debate" and (swallow first) "G.O.P. - Gentlemen Of Politics."

With an unacknowledged nod to Rush Limbaugh Kristol said that a lot of the "conservative" commentators, the talk radio guys, even some people on teevee have become a little hysterical about this race. (Anyone see A Daily Show last night? Spot on as usual.) Kristol went on to praise their interesting and impressive debate.
They continued to discuss the candidates: if the economy is the issue, it's Romney; if it's the war, it's McCain, and he's said all along a Romney McCain ticket is the strongest. He disagrees with "the media" who say Democrats are in a good position and Republicans not so much, and declined to predict who will win Florida - OK, Romney or McCain.
Such a contrast to those barbarian Democrats, with long knives coming out and attacks and fights and mudslinging!
Here's the Stewart bit about the hysteria in the media:
