Outrageous Quote of the Week 12/22/07

Reported by Chrish - December 23, 2007 -

Frank Luntz is a new winner for last week's ridiculous assertion that "Republicans are religious. There's a difference between a Republican and a Democrat and it's not just about race, it's not just about ethnicity. One of the biggest differences is in terms of religion. Republicans believe in God and they attend church." This week, since he's "taking a few days off" and won't be back until after the New Year, we bring you the O'Reilly edition:

Option A: "Now the reason things continue to go so well is that we're not just a TV news program. We're on a mission to help the good guys and take down the bad guys." Bill O'Reilly, O'Reilly Factor, 12/21/07

Option B: "Just imagine if Ms. Erbe had used that "knuckle dragging" line with Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. All hell would have broken loose. But against a dedicated Christian, you can smear all day long." Bill O'Reilly insinuating the Democrats are not "dedicated Christians," O'Reilly Factor, 12/17/07

Option C: "Now most teens are pinheads in some ways." Bill O'Reilly, author of "Kids are Americans too," 12/20/07

Option D: "But I understand why they didn't - look, if they put Gore on the cover, which they desperately I think wanted to do... they would have lost a lot of subscriptions. And they can't handle that." Bill O'Reilly on TIME Magazine's Person of the Year choice, O'Reilly Factor, 12/21/07

Option E: "Look, you are a propagandist, senator. You're a propagandist."Bill O'Reilly to Senator Chris Dodd in August of this year, repeated in a highlights segment on the O'Reilly Factor 12/20/07
