Another Civil Rights Discussion Used As Excuse To Attack Blacks

Reported by Ellen - December 4, 2007 -

Once again, a discussion about racial issues was used as a club with which to attack African Americans on FOX News. In this case, the panel discussion on last night's Hannity & Colmes was supposed to be about Imus' return to the airwaves. But by stacking the panel with a pro-Imus supporter and frequent Imus guest (Bo Dietl) and an outspoken Sharpton opponent (Angela McGlowan), especially when both hosts took a pro-Imus/Sharpton-hostile position, the result was a predictable pile-on against the National Action Network's spokeswoman (Tamika Mallory), the lone guest on the other side. Completely overlooked in the discussion was Imus' long history of racial slurs. Video after the jump.
