FOX Guest unexpectedly bashes Bush after much build-up from FOX Friends

Reported by Chrish - November 16, 2007 -

The Friends on FOX this morning 11/16/07 seemed proud of Bush's announcement that military air passages on the East Coast will be freed up for commercial flights throughout the Thanksgiving holiday. Sounds good, doesn't it? The Friends thought so and the chyrons in the teasers reinforced the upbeat message. Then aviation expert Mike Boyd came on and burst the happy-air-travel bubble.
With video.

The Friends were clearly taken aback by his assessment that Bush was merely reading off a "crib card" and didn't know what he was talking about (apparently the same could be said of the Friends) but the man had his facts, deflating the hero worship and ensuring he won't be invited to the White House Christmas party.

Too funny, how they were all suckered in by the "announcement" and it's positive-sounding delivery, regardless of the emptiness of the message. Clear skies, redux? No traveler left behind?
