Bill O'Reilly Joins FOX Freak Out Over Rosie

Reported by Deborah - November 6, 2007 -

Bill O'Reilly reacted to the Rosie O'Donnell news with cool superiority tonight on The Factor reminding viewers that he's the ratings King and MSNBC is only hiring Rosie O'Donnell out of desperation. He opened his TPM with " Wow! What would Huntley/ Brinkley and John Chancellor think?"

Of course, O'Reilly's main concern was the article by Jacques Steinberg in the New York Times praising Keith Olbermann's ratings. BOR claimed "Steinberg knows the scene but chose to deceive..." Then the graph came out to prove that his rating are tops and Keith Olbermann, not named of course, is a loser. He also made sure to show clips of every controversial comment O'Donnell ever made on The View.

O'Reilly maintained his super smug air saying they called Tom Brokaw, Tim Russert and Brian Williams for comments without success. Then he tried to be Lenoesque with a little monologue humor quipping it's not true that "Sean Penn will co-anchor", that "Hugo Chavez will be chief correspondent" or "Barney Frank will be weatherman".

Then he brought up General Electric and CEO Jeff Immelt suggesting that people contact him about this choice.

comment: I'm sure Jesse Waters, BOR's ambush guy, is on 24hr Rosie duty. The bizarro FOX vs Rosie Saga is only beginning.
