Fox & Friends Say Media Matters Is Going After O'Reilly & Only Fox

Reported by Donna - September 26, 2007 -

Fox and Friends went ferociously after Media Matters.com for going after Bill O'Reilly for racist remarks he made about a restaurant in Harlem. O'Reilly said " I couldn't get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia's restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it's run by blacks." Fellow News Hound, Chrish, posted on this yesterday. It continues today.

Fox and Friends says this is ridiculous and Judge Andrew Napolitano said that O'Reilly isn't racist, that he doesn't have a racist bone in his body.

The story carried on Media Matters also included CNN saying that "During the September 24 edition of CNN's Out in the Open, host Rick Sanchez and CNN contributor Roland Martin discussed Fox News host Bill O'Reilly's statement."

So Fox and Friends came out against CNN, too.

O'Reilly said that Media Matters and CNN are on a personal jihad to go after and try and bring O'Reilly down.

Comment: It was a racist remark and O'Reilly shouldn't try to be hiding from it. For Judge Andrew Napolitano to come out and say that O'Reilly doesn't have a racist bone in his ody is ridiculous. Doocy even went as far as to say that Media Matters only goes after Fox News when in fact if you look at the front page of Media Matters they go after the Chicago Tribune and the L.A. Times. They go after all media.
