Neil Cavuto Doesn't Ask Alan Greenspan About Iraq War for Oil Statement

Reported by Melanie - September 18, 2007 -

Yesterday in his Common Sense "editorial" (I put that word in quotes because his whole freakin' show is an editorial), Neil Cavuto asked what Alan Greenspan and MoveOn.org have in common. He began by saying, "I guess I can wait until tomorrow when I speak with Alan Greenspan myself."

In his new book, The Age of Turbulence: Adventures in a New World, Alan Greenspan writes,

I am saddened that it is politically inconvenient to acknowledge what everyone knows: the Iraq war is largely about oil.

Telling the truth is, as we know, verboten in the Republican party so natch, Cavuto had to slap Greenspan upside the head by comparing him with the hated MoveOn.org.

Well, lo and behold, Greenspan was on Cavuto's show today (September 18, 2007) but Cavuto was apparently too chicken to ask him to expand on what he wrote. Wouldn't want to give Greenspan a chance to defend himself or, more significantly, to tell any more truths, now would we Neil?
