If a Democrat Did This, Neil Cavuto Would Be All Over It

Reported by Melanie - July 27, 2007 -

The New York Times reported this morning (July 27, 2007) that Republican Senator Arlen Specter, George Bush's "guest" aboard Air Force One on a trip to Philadelphia yesterday, violated two huge rules of decorum -- "No showboating or mingling with the on-board press corps and, certainly, no criticizing the commander in chief or his team." That anti-American Specter, who's obviously "aiding the terrorists during a time of war," did both no less. "He visited with reporters aboard the presidential airplane before it lifted off for Philadelphia and lambasted the attorney general."

If a Democrat did what Specter did, it would have been the lead story on all of Fox's "fair and balanced news" shows today and even its "premiere business news" anchor, Neil Cavuto, would have been aghast! Shocked! He would probably use it as an explanation for why the Dow is dropping. But no, Cavuto, who may have been among that crowd of reporters -- he reported live from Philly yesterday and said he "caught" Bush's speech there -- didn't say a word.
