Outrageous Quote of the Week @ June 9, 2007

Reported by Chrish - June 10, 2007 -

It wasn't surprising for Bill O'Reilly to win last week's OQOTW, as he had 3 of the 7 quotes! By a landslide 48%, voters found his racist, paternalistic comment to John McCain to be most egregious:

"The New York Times and the far left want to break down the white christian male power structure".

Keep reading for this week's nominees:

Option A: "Obama says ... that insurance premiums will come down and, yet, he's gonna eliminate the ability of insurance companies to discriminate against people with pre-existing conditions, so if you have a serious illness, you get covered just like everybody else. Now, if that's the case, it's going to raise everybody's premiums so I don't know how he gets away with that." - Mort Kondracke, Special Report with Brit Hume, May 29, 2007 (Note: leftover from last week; my bad.)

Option B "If you're not an S-P, than I'm Donald Duck." Bill O'Reilly to conservative Boulder resident, Dave Kopel ,after Kopel called him out for distorting the Boulder High School controversy. http://tinyurl.com/33marh

Option C: "The people who are talented and want to work hard are all sitting in their home countries with their visa applications backed up five years." Canadian Mark Steyn on immigrants to the US. From 6/7/07 Hannity & Colmes, http://tinyurl.com/3yjxwr

Option D: "I want to see the Ann Coulter doll and the Paris Hilton doll go at it." Tobin Smith playing with the former, on FOX financial program Bulls & Bears 6/9/07. http://tinyurl.com/34v8w4

Option E: "Now apparently The Times isn't real concerned about Muslim guys allegedly trying to set up another 9/11. ...This is not the Colbert Report. This is The Factor and this is the fact. On page one, The New York Times instead of the JFK terror arrests we saw some Indian people with bricks." Bill O'Reilly, showing top half only of Sunday New York Times, obscuring from viewers headline beneath the fold that read "4 Charged in bomb plot at Kennedy Airport." Talking Point Memo 6/4/07. http://tinyurl.com/33u2jp

Option F: “John Edwards is now censoring freedom of the press in his own way.” Geraldo Rivera on Hannity and Colmes 6/6/07, on Edwards' refusal to appear in FOX News sponsored debate. http://tinyurl.com/2j5mr7
