Fox Admits Things Aren't Going Well In Iraq But Still Doesn't Report on Deaths In Iraq

Reported by Donna - June 4, 2007 -

Today on Studio B with Shepard Smith they said after 3 months of the surge in Iraq that things aren't going so well. While this has been obvious in the reporting from other news outlets. Fox still avoids reporting the deaths in Iraq, of civilians and soldiers.

Shepard Smith reported on a NY Times story that said that under 1/3 of Baghdad's neighborhoods are under the control of U.S. and Iraqi troops. Smith said the buildup may not be living up to it's predictions. He added that our military has been reporting all along that the fight would not be easy. Smith said the biggest issue was the number of trained and qualified Iraqi forces.

Comment: Again we hear that the biggest issue is the number of trained and qualified Iraqi forces. We have heard this was the problem for the past few years. They are finding terrorists setting off roadside bombs who are members of the Iraqi forces. Is this ever going to be resolved? Studio B is still not reporting on the soldiers and civilians getting killed in Iraq. They also try to use the excuse that they've said all along this would not be an easy fight. What exactly are we accomplishing? We report you decide.
