Bill O'Reilly wrong. On so many levels.

Reported by Chrish - May 29, 2007 -

Bill O'Reilly has stated as fact that despite reports to the contrary, ABC chose to terminate Rosie O'Donnell because of her "irresponsible" remarks (i.e., she dared to question the Bush administration on a national platform.) Barbara Walters made it very clear on The View this morning 5/29/07 that it was entirely Rosie's choice to leave the show, and she is warmly welcome to return whenever and as frequently as she wants to.
With video, unfortunately for O'Reilly.

O'Reilly's vendetta against Rosie, draped in a cloak of righteous patriotism and outrage, is merely a political jihad to silence a loud voice of dissent that criticizes the Bush administration and the war in Iraq, and dares to question the official storyline of the events of 9/11. It's never been clearer (to me) that O'Reilly does the bidding of the Bush administration; how they convince him and manipulate him is interesting but irrelevant. But he has made clear his mission is not yet accomplished: O'Donnell is off the air, for now, yet he continues to attack her and threatens any corporation that hires her in the future that should they allow her to speak her mind, against his masters' bidding, he will savage her again and call his followers to financially ruin her program.
