Bill O'Reilly Taunts Al Franken and Calls It Satire

Reported by Deborah - April 24, 2007 -

Bill O'Reilly devoted his Most Ridiculous Item segment, 4/24/07, to Al Franken. It's obviously killing BOR that Franken is running for a Senate seat in Minnesota and getting a lot of support so tonight he came up with some nasty campaign slogans for Franken and invited viewers to send in more.

Here's what O'Reilly said tonight to make himself look ridiculous.

" Stewart Smalley aka Al Franken is running for a Senate seat in Minnesota. The far left is thrilled sending small man a lot of money.'

Claiming that Franken has no campaign slogan , he offered these witty possibilities.

"It's a small world after all."
"Vote for Stewart Smalley. He'll do for Minnesota what he did for Air America".
"Many are small but few are chosen" claiming that since this was a bibical reference it wouldn't be appropriate.

Then he alerted viewers that it was satire and invited them to join in the fun with their own, oh so clever, "satirical" slogans.

comment: O'Reilly, are you embarrassed yet?
