Why No Hannity & Colmes Coverage About African American Who Spent 25 Years In Prison On False Rape Charges?

Reported by Ellen - April 23, 2007 -

Sean Hannity was nearly beside himself with outrage over the now-dropped rape charges against members of the Duke lacrosse team. Fortunately for the well-to-do Duke students, they were able to hire lawyers and develop a pipeline to the media. Sean Hannity seemed to program Hannity & Colmes around their defense team’s needs. After the charges were dropped, Hannity vengefully publicized the name and photograph of the accuser and made her the “enemy of the week” on his Sunday show. So where’s the outrage on behalf of Jerry Miller who was exonerated today after having spent 25 years in prison for a rape and other charges? Could it be because Miller is an African American? Or is it because he lacks the same connections and privileges as the Duke students? Whatever the reason, it’s another disgraceful example of racial bias on the “fair and balanced” network.
