Outrageous Quote of the Week - Week of April 16th

Reported by Janie - April 23, 2007 -

Ann Coulter was the last Outrageous Quote winner, with 58% of the vote, for her incredibly insensitive and disgusting comments about the genocide in Darfur:

"These people can't even wrap up genocide. We've been hearing about this slaughter in Darfur forever - and they still haven't finished. The aggressors are moving like termites across that country. It's like genocide by committee. Who's running this holocaust in Darfur, FEMA?

"This is truly a war in which we have absolutely no interest."

For this week's selection, take a look below the jump!

Option A: Young men in America's colleges lack "testosterone." - Mark Steyn just days after the VA Tech shooting, "Your World", 4/19/07

Option B: "Well, [big sigh] it didn't take them long. Within hours of the Virginia Tech massacre the blame-America gang was in rare form. Much of that chorus coming from overseas, but Wall Street sent a very different message. As we were coming to grips with this tragedy, the Dow soared, hitting a new all-time high. It's now within 50 points of 13,000. Toby, what message do you think Wall Street's sending?" - Brenda Buttner claiming the VT shooting had an effect on the stock market, "Bulls and Bears", 4/21/07

Option C: "Harry Reid is a disgrace, Harry Reid needs to resign." - Sean Hannity, after Senator Reid truthfully stated the surge is not working, "Hannity & Colmes", 4/20/07

Option D: “What Harry Reid said is much more disgraceful than anything Trent Lott said, and I do think Democrats should ask Harry Reid to step down.” - Bill Kristol claiming Reid's comments were more disgraceful than Lott's comments that the US would be better if it maintained segregation, "Fox News Sunday", 4/22/07
