Will Coulter get the O'Donnell treatment on FOX?

Reported by Chrish - April 8, 2007 -

Here's a prediction: the "fair and balanced" network will sic all it's famous talking heads on Ann Coulter this coming week, day after day, hour after hour. They will refuse to have her on any of their shows and will join Media Matters for America in asking newspapers to stop carrying her hate-filled rants. After all, she is really making us look bad in the world, emboldening the enemy.

OR, they will express disgust for Ms. Coulter while explaining away her hate, saying it's her very own special brand of "satire." They'll demonize the "far left smear site" calling for consequences, hoping we've all forgotten about the weeks-long crusade to get Rosie O'Donnell fired (for urging viewers to explore subjects that should, apparently, not be explored.)

If you don't want to give Coulter's site a hit, herewith her most recent "reasoned discourse," courtesy of Cliff Shecter:

First, Coulter's take on Darfur:

"These people can't even wrap up genocide. We've been hearing about this slaughter in Darfur forever — and they still haven't finished. The aggressors are moving like termites across that country. It's like genocide by committee. Who's running this holocaust in Darfur, FEMA?

This is truly a war in which we have absolutely no interest."

And many readers will be happy to see the high regard she has for people of the Jewish faith:

"Moses had to grab Jews by the scruff of their necks and drag them to the desert for 40 years to get a generation capable of living in freedom — and even then the Jews were complaining about it being too drafty.

Even in the desert, the Jews would not stop with the golden calves. God nearly let the whole lot of them perish in the desert, he was so angry about their idolatrous ways."

Hmm, since FOX viewers identify Ann Coulter as "most dedicated right" by a whopping 57% she obviously should be marginalized and stifled, like O'Donnell. Right? I mean, if they're truly fair and balanced and don't have a double standard or anything.

This will be interesting to watch unfold. We'll let you know.
