Fox: Iran Responsible for Arming Terrorists?

Reported by Donna - February 12, 2007 -

Fox is changing things around. Bill Hemmer is now gone from Fox On Line (12 - 1 p.m.) and so is the show. It's now called Fox News Live and the host is Jon Scott. Hemmer is hosting an earlier show.

Several times during the hour Fox spoke about EFD's (explosively formed projectiles) being used in Iraq and said that the U.S. said there was "no doubt" these weapons came from Iran. Iran said that the U.S. had manufactured the evidence. This was also reported by fellow News Hound, Judy.

Fox brought in an expert, Alireza Jafarzadeh, Foreign Affairs Contributor, who said that they certainly weren't being made in a bicycle shop, that these were very advanced, highly technical weapons that only Iran could produce. (Comment: No one else can produce these weapons?)

Scott pointed out that the president said he would not tolerate the insurgents being supplied by any other country.

Comment: Three times during the show they brought up that this intelligence said that Iran was producing these weapons. We're being told that "intelligence indicates" that they're coming from Iran and are responsible for killing 170 of our soldiers.

My question is, how much longer do we allow Fox and this administration to lead us in this "intelligence indicates" farce and fess up and tell them we're not falling for any banana up our tailpipes anymore? When do you know when to trust this government when they say that "intelligence indicates" something? Is this a buildup to a possible military strike?

We report you decide.
