Fox "News" Protects Wal-Mart

Reported by Melanie - February 6, 2007 -

February 6, 2007: REUTERS: The largest sexual discrimination lawsuit in U.S. history moved forward against Wal-Mart on Tuesday. ... The plaintiffs estimate as many as 1.6 million women who have worked for Wal-Mart in its U.S. stores since 1998 could join the lawsuit. The number makes the group the largest ever to sue for gender discrimination. ... The plaintiffs in the case allege they were denied promotion opportunities, with some also saying they were sexually harassed or subject to sexist remarks.

Emphasis added.

Fox's Neil Cavuto reporting this news the same day, during his "Fox Stox" segment:

A federal appeals court ruling a class action lawsuit accusing Wall-Mart of sex discrimination can go ahead and proceed. The suit alleges nearly 1.5 million female workers were paid less than their male counterparts and passed over for promotions.
