Olbermann Puts Two from Fox Noise Channel on Worst List

Reported by Judy - January 25, 2007 -

Keith Olbermann's "Worst Person" winner on Wednesday (January 24, 2007) was a five-way split among what he called actors of the "irrational right," but the Fox News, er Noise, Channel, landed two in the select group. With video.

Olbermann, on his MSNBC show "Countdown," named Sean Hannity and Steve Doocy winners of the gold medal for Worst Person in the World, along with CNN's Glenn Beck, comedian Rush Limbaugh, and Neil Boortz, for each announcing that Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-New York, must have recorded her on-line campaign announcement several months ago because a little green was visible on trees in the background. The implication was that Clinton was dishonest and manipulating the media.

Olbermann said all five apparently got the information from a right-wing website. But Juan Williams, of National Public Radio, noted on "Fox and Friends" after Doocy made the comment that the announcement was taped at Clinton's D.C.-area home and that trees are still green in the area.

Oops.
