Rick Warren's Christmas Church Services To Air On FOX 5 Times On Christmas Day

Reported by Deborah - December 21, 2006 -

On Christmas Day, FOX News will broadcast Christmas Services, five times, from Pastor Rick Warren's, Saddleback Church. Fox is calling it a Special hosted by David Asman. However, Pastor Rick Warren, A Purpose Driven Life, described the broadcasts differently to members of his Church.

Dear Saddleback Family,

Many Americans have heard "about" Saddleback over the years, but this Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, America will get its first true look at what REALLY happens in our Saddleback services as they are broadcast 5 times on the Fox News Network. I imagine a lot of folks will be surprised, given all the myths that have been written about our church.

We will be taping the 6 and 8 pm Friday Christmas services for broadcast. Because millions of people living without Jesus will watch these services, I'm asking you to do three things:

1. Pray! Ask God to use the words and music to touch many with the Good News.

2. Attend Friday! We want a packed house at both services. Your relatives might see you on TV, and you can beat the Christmas crowds! Invite your neighbors.

3. Invite family and friends to watch "Christmas at Saddleback" on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

I love you all! Merry Christmas! Pastor Rick

comment: Does anyone recall any Chanukah coverage this week, besides the promos, on FOX News. What does FOX have planned for Kwanzaa next week? There can be no argument that this FOX plan fror Christmas is not fair and balanced. Beyond that, is it even ethical?
