Outrageous Quote of the Week: Week of December 11th

Reported by Janie - December 18, 2006 -

With 39% of the vote, Rep. Jack Kingston took home last week's Outrageous Quote for his whining over having to work a full 5-day work week:

"Keeping us here eats away at families. Marriages suffer. The Democrats could care less about families...that's what this says."

For this week's selection, take a look below the fold!

Option A: BRIAN KILMEADE: "... Jesus is the reason for the season, isn't he?. So Jesus never had the opportunity to experience holiday shopping."

STEVE DOOCY (correcting him): "You mean Christmas shopping."

ALISYN CAMEROTA: "Jesus was not, probably, a shopper."

BRIAN KILMEADE: "Right."

ALISYN CAMEROTA: "But maybe if he were here now, he would have to do some shopping. Wal-Mart would like him to come to their store ..." - "Fox and Friends First", 12/15/06

Option B: "It's the fault of the liberals and the media and the Democrats - that from the very beginning have tried to undermine the will of the American people to fight this... The media calls the shots." - Indicted Tom DeLay blaming liberals for the problems in Iraq, "Hannity & Colmes", 12/11/06

Option C: "All I did was describe you as a fascist. I haven't called you any names." - Bill O'Reilly to Wayne Madsen, "The O'Reilly Factor", 12/12/06

Option D: "Some character, who apparently had been trained by the French Girl Scouts or by one of your friends, Alan, took a pot shot at us. The outcome might have been different if he'd been trained to shoot by Dick Cheney, but he missed." - Oliver North after almost being shot, "Hannity & Colmes", 12/12/06

Option E: "OK. You seem to be saying that Jesus probably wouldn't shop at Wal-Mart but I'm looking at Jesus' writings and I'm saying, well, would Jesus want folks to get a break on paying for goods and save an average of $2,000 a year, as seems to be the case with Wal-Mart shoppers. Would Jesus want to give 1.3 million Americans the chance to be employed, as Wal-Mart apparently does? I think Jesus would be on board with that." - Neil Cavuto, "Your World", 12/14/06

Option F: “We can stuff this down a liberal's throat and shut him - make him quiet.” - Sean Hannity, displaying a Christmas gift and discussing how he can use it to injure liberals, "Hannity & Colmes", 12/14/06
