After Months Of Repeating Cut & Run, Smith Backs Down

Reported by Donna - November 8, 2006 -

After covering Shepard Smith on Studio B in the months leading up to the 2006 election, he has often used the words 'cut & run' when it came to the Democratic stand.

Today that all changed.

While interviewing Major General Donald Edwards about the resignation of Donald Rumsfeld as Secretary of Defense, Smith said that "no one has really suggested cut and run."

Comment: Funny that since the Democrats have won the House and perhaps the Senate that Smith would back off one of his favorite Republican talking points when it came to talking about the Iraqi policy. What a difference a day makes.
