Outrageous Quote of the Week - Week of October 23rd

Reported by Janie - October 30, 2006 -

After whining about non-existent voter suppression by Democrats, Sean Hannity won last week's Outrageous Quote with 38% by doing exactly what he was complaining about (and then whining about people quoting him correctly):

"I want you to stay home on Election Day because you must accept the fact that your party has abandoned you. You've gotta accept the fact that your vote doesn't matter anyway. So all you Democrats, stay home. So, you know, why don't you stay home on Election Day? This is how the press is going to report this: 'Hannity says Democrats should stay home on Election Day.'" - Sean Hannity, "The Sean Hannity Show", 10/18/06

For this week's choice selection, take a peek below the jump.

Option A: “There’s no reason why we shouldn’t be drilling for oil in the Alaska
wasteland.” - David Oblon, constitutional lawyer, during a discussion of energy
independence, "Live Desk" - 1024/06

Option B: "Is it too much to ask for a policy that says 'You know what? The steel worker and the teacher isn't necessarily more morally deserving [of tax cuts] than the hedge fund manager or the rich CEO?'" - Jonathan Koenig, CapitalistPig.com, "Cashin' In", 10/27/06

Option C: "I don't support class warfare. ... I mean, Nancy Pelosi honestly thinks it's her job to take money from the haves and give it to the have nots, money that they didn't earn. I mean, I'm sorry but the rich don't become rich on the backs of the poor." - Jonathan Koenig, CapitalistPig.com, "Cashin' In", 10/27/06

Option D: What Jim Webb wrote in his books is "100 times worse than anything
Mark Foley ever wrote to a 16 year-old boy." - Karen Hanretty, "Hannity & Colmes", 10/27/06

Option E: "If Democrats who hate Bush and hate the war win, the insurgents win." - John Gibson, "Big Story", 10/24/06
