FOX Hosts: Waterboarding Not So Bad, Just a Washcloth on the Face

Reported by Marie Therese - October 27, 2006 -

Yesterday on FOX & Friends First, when Lauren Green tried to enlighten them about the true nature of waterboarding, her co-hosts disagreed. Brian Kilmeade said that waterboarding only involved putting a washcloth on the prisoner and Steve Doocy said "you don't dunk 'em in the water - you just kind of splash some water on 'em." Ms. Green got the message and, true FOX flunkie that she is, dutifully continued reporting the pile of horse manure that passes for talking points at FOX News these days, namely, that we need to do these things to get information and keep us all safe.

I've had enough of these brain-dead dweebs who sacrifice their own humanity to defend the indefensible.

Now the gloves come off.

Here is a video, produced by Current TV, that will show you exactly what waterboarding really is.

Former military man Kaj Larsen allowed himself to be waterboarded. It is truly difficult to watch, even knowing that he is in no danger. Please do not view it if you are in the least squeamish. It goes on for a long time, although there are interviews with various legal and political pundits on a split screen.

If a prisoner had a heart condition or any other serious medical issues, this technique could easily result in his or her death.

I honestly don't know how Doocy, Kilmeade and Green live with themselves, knowing that their job involves deceiving millions of trusting viewers on a daily basis.

As for me, I don't want my safety secured at the expense of the principles of honor and morality that I was taught as a child.

Unlike those on the right, who see a boogeyman around every corner, I am not so afraid of terrorist attack that I am willing to tear down the Constitution that my ancestors fought and died for.
