Outrageous Quote of the Week - Week of October 16th

Reported by Janie - October 23, 2006 -

As the Republicans become more and more desperate due to the impending mid-term elections, their pundits and followers have also become more desperate, attacking every Democrat they can - especially those that will gain power. Their tactics, while predictable, have turned to sexism and lies.

Last week, Tom Adkins of Remax Realty & commonconservative.com, won the Outrageous Quote of the Week with 33% for this gem while discussing Nancy Pelosi:

"Aw, she can clean up my bathroom. I wish I could let her clean up the, the house! Look, Nancy - Nancy Pelosi is a COMMUNIST (his emphasis). She wants to raise taxes. She came out and said it yesterday. And, look. Every campaign is a battle between the Democrats' ability to lie, cheat and steal versus Republicans' ability to tell the truth. Republicans stink at gettin' the truth out." - Cashin' In, 10/7/06

For this week's shrill and insane ramblings (almost all of which are from the ever "loony" and increasingly delusional Bill O'Reilly, who really needs to invest in a large supply of Navane) take a look below the jump.

Option A: "Secular Progressives don't like you because of your faith." - Bill O'Reilly to George Bush, "The O'Reilly Factor", 10/18/06

Option B: "Because if I can get away with it, boy, I’d go in with a hand grenade." - Bill O'Reilly on how he'd like to treat blogs and bloggers, "The O'Reilly Factor", 10/18/06

Option C: "South Dakota, as you know, has voted to outlaw abortions unless the mother's life is in danger, which is never the case, because you can always have a C-section and do those kinds of things." - Bill O'Reilly, "The Radio Factor", 10/11/06

Option D: “why is this stuff happening in a democracy?" - Bill O'Reilly referring to protests, "The O'Reilly Factor", 10/19/06

Option E: "I want you to stay home on Election Day because you must accept the fact that your party has abandoned you. You've gotta accept the fact that your vote doesn't matter anyway. So all you Democrats, stay home. So, you know, why don't you stay home on Election Day? This is how the press is going to report this: 'Hannity says Democrats should stay home on Election Day.'" - Sean Hannity, "The Sean Hannity Show", 10/18/06
