Where O'Reilly gets his orders

Reported by Chrish - July 31, 2006 -

Roger Ailes spoke to a diminished crowd at a Television Critics Association news conference the other day, after about 100 people walked out prior to his speech. No matter to him - all that matters is ratings! Now we know where O'Reilly gets his direction from and, further down the food chain, FOX fans who post here get theirs.

Amended 7/31/06 11:30a.m.: THANKS to ET PbD for the graphic, below!!

I don't make a habit of visiting NewsMax but was led there during a search, where I found

"About two-thirds of the 150 attendees at a Television Critics Association’s gathering walked out of the room before Fox News Channel chairman and CEO Roger Ailes took the stage for a news conference.

Several critics even openly voiced their scorn for what they view as Fox News’ conservative spin. (My emphasis. Do the folks at NewsMax really believe that FOX is unbiased?)

But Ailes was unfazed – and enjoyed gloating.

Ailes then gleefully reminded the critics who did remain that Fox News has led all cable news channels in the Nielsen ratings for the past 55 months and has more viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined."

And McDonald's has sold over a zillion burgers - but it's still bad for you!

All I can picture is Roger Ailes with a little BOR parrot on his shoulder, and a teensy weensy troll parrot on his shoulder...

THANKS again to ET!
