Kurdistan - The Other Iraq

Once again the Iraq war was left out of the Fox News Live with Bill Hemmer (12 - 1 p.m.) hour. The concentration was put entirely on the Israeli/Lebanon conflict. Mideast Turmoil is what Fox is calling it.
But during the commercial break we did get to see a commercial about Iraq - the 'other' Iraq, that is.
A commercial runs with Kurdistan - The Other Iraq banners running and Kurd men, women and children saying, 'Thank you America.'
Comment: I would think with 14,000 Iraqi citizens killed so far in the first 6 months of 2006, 6,000 killed in just May and June, we would have some coverage of Iraq during the hour. No, the mideast conflict has become a nice deflection for the Bush administration and Fox News.
And the Kurdistan commercial? Pure propoganda - another way of presenting a Happy Iraqi story without actually talking about Iraq.
