Fair & Balanced Fox - 3 People (4 If You Count Brit Hume) On Bush's Secret Visit To Iraq - All Republicans

Reported by Donna - June 13, 2006

There was Fox News Alert after Fox News Alert today on Fox News Live. It was almost comical because they went back and forth between Fox News Alerts for the secret visit of President Bush to Iraq and Fox News Alerts for Tropical storm Alberto.

However, the so called, self named, Fair & Balanced Network, Fox News had several people on to comment on the president's visit in Iraq - however, not one Democrat was to be seen.

We heard from Senator Jim Talent (R-MO) who said that Bush was there to show that when the United States gives it's promise, it keeps it's promise. Brit Hume weighed in that it was a show of support from the president, making a committment to the Iraqi government. Roger Stone, a Republican stategist was also on hand to say that all of Washington was watching the polls and this was showing that the American president was in charge. Robert Jordan, former Ambassador for George Bush to Saudia Arabia (2001 - 2003) also commented on what a favorable visit this was for the president and what an important message this was sending.

Comments: All in all one big love fest for the president's visit to Iraq. Not one Democrat was called on to remark on the timing of the president's visits, just continual one sided bias.
