One Year Anniversary Of Natalie Holloway Going Missing
Reported by Donna - May 30, 2006
Today was the one year anniversary of the date on which Natalee Holloway went missing. Studio B with Shepard Smith took this as a great chance to cross promote Greta Van Susteren's show, even having her on to discuss the latest.
There was no latest. Greta just saw her best ratings in the middle of the Holloway hype, so what better time for cross promotion than on the anniversary of Holloway being missing?
Great said that 10 people had been arrested and 10 people had been released. She said everyday there are tips that come through but she and others in the press just "rolled their eyes at them." Greta said that they all had "Natalee Holloway fatigue." Greta stated that Natalee Holloway's mother said she was "practical" but she had the smallest bit of hope.
Comments: All in all a rehash of the endless Natalee Holloway story. Maybe since this 1st anniversary has been reached the story will slowly fade away. Until that time, Fox is going to milk those ratings one last time on this one year anniversary. As Smith says, "Gotta know all the news? Gotta go to Greta."
