Outrageous Quote of the Week - Week of May 14th

Reported by Janie - May 22, 2006

The winner of last week's Outrageous Quote went, hands down with 43% of the vote, to John Gibson for his racist diatribe where he encouraged white people to out procreate other races: "Or put another way, a slogan for our times: Procreation not recreation." This victory did not come as a surprise!

This week's options contain many of our regulars, so take a peek below the fold and let us know which quote you find to be the most outrageous!

Option A: " ... The reality is that these people have been here a long time. Let's give them a path to citizenship. Let's, you know, build our walls and shoot the people we need to shoot but let's get on this thing!" - Tobin Smith on immigration, Bulls and Bears, 5-13-06

Option B: "According to the lefty zealots, the white Christians who hold power must be swept out by a new multicultural tie, a rainbow coalition, if you will. This can only happen if demographics change in America. An open border policy and the legalization of millions of Hispanic illegal aliens would deeply affect the political landscape in America. That's what The New York Times and many others on the left want. They might get it." - Bill O'Reilly during his Talking Points Memo, The O'Reilly Factor, 5-19-06

Option C: "And, you know, for a company to opt out and say no, no, no, we're too privacy minded for this, it's basically helping terrorists. I think Senator Pat Roberts is absolutely right. What's going on know is shocking. I mean, people are treating the Constitution of the United States as a suicide pact." - Mort Kondrake on Qwest not providing information to the NSA without a warrant, Special Report with Brit Hume, 5-17-06

Option D: "Well, I want to listen to the details and I want to listen to the President," said Senator Hagel -- he said this on 'This Week' on a competing network. - Presidential Press Secretary Tony Snow referring to ABC during a press gaggle, 5-17-06

Option E: “Ummm, yes we also live in a free and open democratic society where you’re innocent until proved guilty – something that liberals only honor in the case of serial killers and child molesters.” - Ann Coulter, Hannity & Colmes, 5-18-06
