Fox Says 35% American Idol Voters Think Their American Idol Vote Just As Important As Vote For President
Reported by Donna - May 3, 2006
With most of the second half of Studio B spent talking abou the verdict in Moussaoui coming in at 4:30 p.m. there wasn't much going on at Studio B with Shepard Smith today.
Smith and Jane Skinner did come up with an interesting statistic during the SkinnerVille segment right after the half hour news break. Seems 35% of American Idol voters think their American Idol vote is just as important as their vote for president.
Comments: Fox is ratings obsessed and they went on and on about how high the ratings are for American Idol. Tie this in with the failed geography test revealed yesterday (many 18 - 24 year olds couldn't find Iraq or Mississippi on a map) and I think we find the evidence of just where the 32% approval rating for the president is coming from. We report you decide.
