Fox's Earth Day Message: "World Better Off Because of America!"
Reported by Melanie - April 21, 2006
The 60-something, pokerfaced, curmudgeonly Michael Barone, a "senior writer" at U.S. News & World Report and a Fox News "political contributor," appeared on Your World w/Neil Cavuto today (April 21, 2006) to talk about - get this - Earth Day!
Here's a link to video of the segment.
Barone was predictably dismissive of Earth Day and all that silly stuff like the Kyoto Treaty and wimpy European environmentalists, but he was equally predictable in his praise of the USA. What got me though was the chyron Fox displayed at the bottom of the screen the whole time Barone was on. It read:
Earth Day Message: World Better Off Because of America!
Comment: Watch Fox. Be stupid.
