Was Tony Snow Auditioning For White House Job ?

Reported by Deborah - April 19, 2006

Tony Snow is being considered as a replacement for Scott McClelland and last night it looked like O'Reilly was providing his friend with a little audition time airing a segment allowing Snow to comment on a variety of issues. Here's a gem that might have gotten Snow some points with the White House.

Snow was trying to counter the public perception that we're getting gouged by the oil companies. After noting that a gallon of gas costs the same as a gallon of milk Snow commented,

" A gallon of milk has lower production costs than a gallon of gas. Does that mean we're getting gouged by cows?"
