Special Report's Two Minutes of Hate for Thursday April 13th
Reported by Janie - April 14, 2006
Yesterday on Special Report with Brit Hume's "Two Minutes of Hate" (also known as the "Grapevine"), one of the quick sound bites focused on Karl Rove's opinion of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Brit Hume had this to say on the topic, "Deputy White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove has said reaching a diplomatic solution over Iran's nuclear ambitions will be difficult because Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is quote 'not a rational human being'.
Rove said he came to that conclusion after the Iranian leader addressed the United Nations in September and later claimed there was a halo around his head, that transfixed the audience into silence. But as Rove noted, world leaders speaking before the UN are often watched in silence by attentive delegates, and that President Bush has even likened the experience of speaking there to appearing in a 'wax works'."
Comment: This is like the pot calling the kettle black. We have one President claiming he's got a halo over his head, while another says "God would tell me, 'George, go and fight those terrorists in Afghanistan.' And I did, and then God would tell me, 'George go and end the tyranny in Iraq,' and I did."
And these are the men in control of our respective arsenals...
