Happy Iraqi Story Amongst Death - Fox is Hoping It Will Be Resolved By Monday
Reported by Donna - April 13, 2006
In a story on a bombing that took place outside a mosque in northern Baghdad that killed 22, Fox News Live put the positive slant on the story.
Courtney Kealy reporting from Baghdad on Bill Hemmer's Fox News Live today said that, "It's hoped that the issue on Prime Minister will be resolved before the parlimentary session starts on Monday and It's is hoped that once the central government is finally formed the violence we are seeing, such as these attacks on Shiite mosques will cease."
Comment: It's really not so bad - all they have to do is have a Prime Minister before Monday (this is Thursday) and hope that once this is done a central government will be formed and violence will cease. With the Sunnis and Kurds vehemently opposed to the Shiite's choice and the Shiites not budging, I'll hope, too, that somehow this will all happen by Monday.
Along with this Happy Iraqi story Fox also talked about a Mosque mass killing last week of 74 civilians. They forgot to note, though, that the number of U.S. military killed so far in April has already passed the amount killed in all of March.
