You Can Help Prove Tom DeLay Wrong
Reported by Ellen - April 6, 2006
During his softball interview with Sean Hannity last night (4/5/06), Tom DeLay claimed that Brave New Films' upcoming release about him, The Big Buy, is "worthless" now that he's stepping down. But an email from Jim Gilliam, of Brave New Films, indicates that just the opposite is likely to be true.
DeLay said in the interview that Texas prosecutor Ronnie Earle "had a film crew following him around during the secret grand jury process and they put out a movie to use against me in my re-election. Unfortunately, that movieâs worthless right now, which makes me feel pretty good."
But the email I received from Gilliam said, "What's funny is, our commercial and theatrical distributor both think
the exact opposite, that it will drive further interest in the film."
I gotta think that professional distributors would know better than Tom DeLay.
