Why Does Fox News Hate the American Flag?

Fox News usually cannot wave the American flag enough, but on "Dayside" on Monday (April 3, 2006), Fox News tried to hide the American flags on display at immigration rallies even as it promoted the idea that rally protesters are waving Mexican rather than American flags.
"Dayside" Co-host Mike Jerrick interviewed a member of the studio audience, who commented on the alleged lack of American flags at immigration rallies. Jerrick, as substitute co-host Brian Kilmeade had on Friday, suggested that rally participants should put away the Mexican flags.
Yet in a split screen, Fox showed video of immigration rallies in which many American flags could be seen. Most flags, however, were in the background.
Why did Fox News' camera people choose not to focus on those flags? Can't Fox News afford cameras with a zoom feature?
Or could it be that Fox News hates the American flag?
