Cavuto To Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats: "Trying Out For the Lowest Pond Scum in the Swamp"

Neil Cavuto's "Common Sense" segment today (January 11, 2006) was titled "Hey Senators: Time's Up!" In it, Cavuto blasted senators on the Senate Judiciary Committee for taking longer than 30 seconds to ask their questions of Samuel Alito. Cavuto said, "[R]ealize we have no interest at all in what 'you' have to preach." "And quit acting like you're trying out for the lowest scum in the swamp."
Comment: While Cavuto spoke, Fox aired either video or a live shot (it wasn't made clear) of Chuck Schumer (D-NY) questioning Alito. It didn't air a shot of the whole panel, or of a Republican, or of a Republican and a Democrat. Nope. Just a Democrat. It was pretty clear who Cavuto was talking to.
