News Hounds more popular than Bill O'Reilly!

Reported by Chrish - January 1, 2006

FOX is always bleating about their cable news status, boasting "most watched", "Number 1", "most powerful", etc. Their pride and joy is Bill O'Reilly's "The Factor", the WWE equivalent of a serious news program.

TVNewser reports that for the year, O'Reilly averages 2,490,000 viewers in all age ranges.

As posted in News Hounds stats earlier, we've had 2,596,371 readers in 2005.

Hmmm. Numbers are such funny critters. Just goes to show how polls and popularity can be manipulated for the non-analytical among us. As evidence, recall the last nationwide poll which showed that, if you believe the integrity of the machines and their corporate owners, about 51% of the poll participants are not able or willing to think critically. Baaaaaaah, baaaaaaah.
