Gibson: vague accusations, smearing all with one big whiny brush
Reported by Chrish - December 27, 2005
John Gibson had his butt handed to him last week on his own show, resulting in a Keith Olbermann several weeks before, when Gibson was named the "worst person in the world."
Gibson used his megaphone at FOXnews.com, his "My Word" column, to complain about the criticisms he's received in the past weeks over his ridiculous book about the non-existent war on Christmas. Using this platform he also managed to smear blogs in general (but we know he means progressives):
Who does this? These blogs you find on the side of the road on the information highway. They're like litter. You don't notice as you're speeding by but if you stop you see how ugly it all is.
His accusations of misquotes and vagaries are, well, vague and unconfirmable. One could almost feel sorry for him. Almost. But the rift he and O'Reilly caused, the discomfort they spread in this season of love, has manifested in ill will towards themselves.
And Christmas was, as always, beautiful and wonderful for all those who know how to keep it.
