This I Believe
Reported by Judy - December 17, 2005
Little of what Neil Cavuto says strikes me as having more than a grain of truth to it, but he said something Saturday (Dec. 17, 2005) on "Cavuto on Business" that made me sit up and take notice.
One of the panelists was Jack Welch, former CEO of General Electric. Cavuto asked Welch to give some advice to George Bush, noting that the last time he was on the program Welch had suggested Bush do more to promote the successes of his administration.
Welch protested that he didn't know whether he had any influence on Bush's strategy.
To which Cavuto replied, "The White House does watch us. Of that I can assure you, my friend."
There's something about that coziness between Fox News and the White House that I find very disconcerting.
